World Languages Map

Our clients often ask us to provide advice on emerging overseas territories and the languages predominantly spoken in these regions. Similarly, they’d like to know the levels of internet penetration and GDP per capita to determine if users within the target market are online and whether they can afford the client’s goods or services.

So we thought we’d develop this world languages map to allow this information to be accessed in an easy-to-use interactive map. We collected data from Internet World Stats, MySQL and from our own systems to produce a Google Maps mashup. We hope that you’ll find it useful.
