Achieving Success in International Marketing and eCommerce

2015 was a record year for online sales and 2016 is expected to be even bigger with growth in eCommerce expected to exceed $1.1tn globally.

Much of this huge growth will come from emerging markets such as China, India and Russia. As a result, western businesses are increasingly looking to expand into these countries to increase revenues and profits.

Expanding your business into new markets and selling products internationally is a huge challenge. Not only do language barriers present serious issues but you also need to consider local laws, currencies and conversion rates, the logistics of delivery and returns and the preferences and behaviour of local consumers.

To help marketers and eCommerce professionals navigate the treacherous waters of international expansion, we’ve teamed up with the Imperial College Business School to host an event focusing on the issues, challenges and best practice around international marketing and eCommerce to help budding entrepreneurs launch their businesses internationally.
